We offer evidence-informed clinical acupuncture integrated with physiotherapy, focused on pain patterns, migraine/headache symptoms, and stress-related nervous system dysregulation.

Treatments are structured, individualized, and regularly reassessed — not open-ended sessions.

Clinical Acupuncture for Pain, Migraine & Nervous System Regulation

Neuromodulation-Focused Acupuncture

Who This Service Is For

This service is designed for adults who experience:

  • Persistent musculoskeletal pain

  • Symptoms that improved only partially with prior treatments

  • Recurrent migraine or headache patterns

  • Stress-related symptoms and sleep difficulties

  • Nervous system overload or tension patterns

Acupuncture is used here as a structured supportive therapy — not as a replacement for medical diagnosis or emergency care.

Our Clinical Approach

Our acupuncture approach is integrated with physiotherapy and focuses on functional regulation rather than symptom masking alone.

Key principles:

  • Structured treatment planning

  • Individual point selection based on presentation

  • Nervous system modulation focus

  • Reassessment checkpoints during the series

  • Technique selection based on response

We do not apply one-size-fits-all protocols.

Techniques We May Use (When Appropriate)

Depending on your presentation, treatment may include:

  • Manual acupuncture

  • Electro-acupuncture (gentle electrical stimulation applied to needles when clinically indicated)

  • Scalp acupuncture for selected neurological or headache patterns

  • Cupping

What a Treatment Course Looks Like

Typical structure:

1 — Clinical intake and symptom mapping

2 — Individualized point strategy

3 — Needling ± electro-stimulation if indicated

4 — Symptom response tracking

5 — Adjustment after defined checkpoints

Treatment is delivered in defined four-session blocks, allowing structured reassessment at each checkpoint. Continuation is recommended only when measurable clinical improvement is observed.

Expectations & Transparency

Responses vary between individuals.

Acupuncture aims to support symptom regulation and functional improvement.

No specific outcome can be guaranteed.

If no measurable response occurs, we reassess strategy or discuss alternatives.

Training & Professional Background

Formal training in Classical Acupuncture completed at the China Shanghai International Acupuncture & Moxibustion Training Centre in Shanghai, including introductory and advanced international acupuncture programs. The program was organized in collaboration with the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (PRC) and included electro-acupuncture within the formal curriculum.

Clinical internships were completed in outpatient departments of Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals in Shanghai, providing supervised clinical exposure in hospital-based settings. Cupping techniques were included as part of the clinical training.

Continuing professional development remains an integral part of clinical practice.
